Sausalito Village is once again sponsoring an intergenerational art show featuring artists who live or work in the 94965 zip code and are 50+ years old as well as artists aged 15 years and under from Martin Luther King Jr. Academy.
This year’s exhibit will be held at the Sausalito Center for the Arts (SCA) at 700 Bridgeway in downtown Sausalito.
Artist Submission Details (50+ only)
The SCA requires all exhibits to be juried. Eligible 50+ artists may submit:
Two pieces of original art:
One no larger than 36” x 36”
One for the “small wall,” no larger than 12” x 12” and priced no more than $300
All work must be for sale. Remember, SCA takes a 40% commission.
Important Dates
By October 15 – Email to teddiehathaway@gmail.com:
- Name, address, email, and phone number
- Photos of artwork (clear, high-quality images – jurying is based on these)
- Description for each piece (media, size, weight, price)
November 1 – Notification of accepted artists
November 24, 10am–1pm – Deliver READY-TO-HANG artwork (mounted, wired) to SCA; sign waiver of liability. No late drop-offs.
November 26–December 7 – Exhibit open Wednesdays–Sundays, 11am–5pm
November 30, 2–4pm – Artist reception with lovely food, drinks and live music - invite your family and friends!
December 8, by 5pm – Pick up unsold work (no storage available)
