Marin County Resource Guide for Older Adults and Caregivers

Presenter: Cat Woods Williams, Social Services Unit Supervisor, Information & Referral (I&R) & Nutrition Services (Meals on Wheels), Marin County Health and Human Services

Do you know where to turn when you - or someone you care about - needs help.

Cat Woods Williams will introduce us to Marin 473-INFO, Marin County’s Information & Assistance call center and an important starting point for older adults, family members, and caregivers looking for services and support.

Whether you have questions about transportation, Meals on Wheels and other nutrition programs, caregiving resources, housing, in-home support, health and wellness programs, benefits, social services, or other resources for older adults, the 473-INFO team can help identify what is available and point you in the right direction.

Cat will explain how the service works, who can use it, the kinds of questions they can answer, and how they connect callers with County programs and community organizations.

Bring your questions! This is a great opportunity to learn more about the many resources available in Marin County—and to ask someone who knows how to navigate them.
