We are doing a 'redo' of June's hike as we all enjoyed the area so much. 

AUGUST HIKE:  Lower Redwood Creek Hike

Terrain:  Riparian habitat with woods and grassland.  The trail is mostly level with minor elevations. This will be an in and out on the same trail.  It is 1.8 miles to the junction with the Miwok Trail for a total of 3.6 miles.  

Directions:  We will have a carpool with SV volunteer drivers from Dunphy Park departing at 9:30am. Please add to the Comment Section if you will be coming in the carpool when you register.

If you are driving yourself: Highway 1 north, drive past Muir Beach, take right onto Frank Valley Road.  Park at the first pullout on the north side of the road.   The trailhead is on the opposite side of the road.

There are no restroom facilities at the trailhead.  There are restrooms located in the parking lot of Muir Beach.Essentials:  water, snack, sunscreen
