SV Monthly Hike

 

Every first Wednesday of the month SV will host a hike that ranges 3-5 miles over different terrains, generally moderate hikes with moderate elevation gains.  The exact hike will be posted several weeks before the date.

 

THIS MONTH:  Baltimore Canyon in Larkspur.  We plan to carpool from Dunphy Park to ensure everyone finds the starting point and due to limited parking. This hike is being led by Patricia Pigman. Dogs are allowed on this hike.  

 

More about Baltimore Canyon -  Tucked away in Marin County, Baltimore Canyon Preserve is a peaceful escape from the city grind. This 193-acre sanctuary has shaded trails that wind through a secluded canyon, drawing hikers, birdwatchers, and even the occasional horseback rider. The trail network is friendly for both casual walkers and folks who like a bit more challenge.

 

We will always offer carpooling with a SV Volunteer driver leaving from Dunphy Park at approximately 9:30 (will vary depending on the distance to the starting point) for SV members/volunteers.  Non-members/volunteers are welcome but will be responsible for their own transportation.
