The SV Hiking Group regular hikes take place the first Wednesday of the month BUT once in a while we have a 'bonus' hike like this one.  We are hoping to see the wildflowers in bloom on Ring Mountain in Tiburon and we just can't wait until next month!

 

About the hike: 

We will explore Ring Mountain on the Phyllis Ellman Trail.  This 3 mile hike gains 515 ft elevation to spectacular views, petroglyphs and awesome wildflowers.  

We will meet at the Phyllis EllmanTrailhead and take off at 10am.

We’re fortunate to have Mia Munroe joining us on the hike. A naturalist and retired Park Service employee, Mia brings a deeper understanding and appreciation of the natural world around us.

Pack snacks or a sandwich for a short break.  We will be in the sun so please bring your hat, sunscreen and water...you know the drill!

Roadside parking along Paradise Dr, north side of Ring Mountain from Corte Madera (enter Phyllis Ellman Trailhead, 5200 Paradise Drive, Corte Madera 94925 for driving instructions .)

Parking is available but fills up.  Please plan to carpool. SV volunteer drivers will be available from Dunphy Park at 9:30am.  When you register, write in the comments whether you will be driving on your own or would like to reserve a seat in the carpool.
