Get to know our Village!  Meet other Members and Volunteers during this fun interactive event.

Thanks to Nicole Straight who started The Sausalito Project 2 years ago, an ongoing oral-history series celebrating the voices, memories, and lived experiences of the longtime residents who call this town home. She has done over 120 interviews to learn through firsthand interviews the heart and history of Sausalito, one story at a time. 

Now, we’re turning part of that interview format into a live Sausalito Village community gathering designed to help people connect in a simple, meaningful way. In a time when studies show people of all ages are feeling more socially isolated, this offers something different: an easy, authentic way to meet someone new. 

The format is beautifully straightforward. You’ll sit down with someone your never met and ask the same four questions:

• What is your name? 

• What brought you to Sausalito?

• What are your hopes for the future of Sausalito?

• What does a good day look like to you?

That’s it. No small talk pressure. No networking agenda. Just real conversation. It’s amazing how quickly walls come down when you ask thoughtful questions. You’ll leave having learned something new about your neighbors, and maybe even about yourself.

We will have time to change places so that you can truly get to know at least 4 new Sausalito Village Members or Volunteers.
