Sausalito Village Response to Coronavirus (COVID-19)
The Sausalito Village Board of Directors is dedicated to keeping our members and volunteers healthy and limiting the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) and variants in our community. Because most members and many volunteers of SV are considered in the vulnerable demographic, we continue to be especially thoughtful in our approach.
Programs and Events
After more than a year of having a successful calendar of zoom events, Sausalito Village is up and running with a hybrid approach. Check our calendar for upcoming Zoom and in person programming.
During Covid, Sausalito Village provided rides for necessary pre-and post surgical medical appointments through our Healthcare Advocacy Team. Our volunteers are now back to providing rides throughout Marin county for medical appointments, assistance with tech support in the home and other in home assistance such as small fix it projects or errands for those who are temporarily homebound. Contact the Concierge at 415-332-3325 or firstname.lastname@example.org to request a service.
Non-emergency peer emotional support
The 2020 pandemic was very difficult for many of us. If you are still suffering the effects of it, and you are in need of emotional support that is more than friends and family or the Village can offer, please contact the Friendship Line, a 24 hour hotline specifically for seniors through the Institute on Aging. Phone: 800-971-0016. Here is a link to the website: https://www.ioaging.org/services/all-inclusive-health-care/friendship-line
Again, if there is something you need, let us know! You can reach us at 415-332-3325 or email@example.com
